Peter Hendry, Chief Executive Officer
After working with a major supermarket operator, Peter joined MG in 1998 as a key account manager in the Auckland branch. He went on to manage the branch and became national operations manager before being appointed general manager in 2005 and chief executive officer in 2011. He is a keen follower of rugby and tennis.
Kerry Wells, International Business Manager
Kerry joined MG 1994 as the marketing manager, after working in the meat export sector. He undertook domestic importing and national marketing roles until 2000 when he became international business manager overseeing exports and imports. He enjoys skiing, golf and tennis in his leisure.
Grant Harford, National Operations Manager
Grant joined the team in 2011 following management roles in temperature controlled warehousing, logistics and the transport industry. His interests include rugby, golf and raising great kids.
Roger Georgieff, National Procurement Manager
Roger worked in supermarket and wholesale marketing manager roles before joining MG in 1997 as operations manager. He was appointed as national procurement manager in 2003. His major sporting interests are football, cricket and rugby.
Peter Lange, Imports Manager
Peter joined MG in 1995 as imports manager after working in sales and account management with NCR and Pitney Bowes. Although it was his first role in the produce industry, he is from a family with a long history of market gardening. Peter enjoys hunting, fishing, biking and dining in his leisure.
Duncan Pryor, Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer
Duncan joined MG in 1996 as company accountant, having previously been an audit manager with Deloittes. In the same year he took on the role of company secretary and subsequently was appointed chief financial officer. His leisure interests include soccer coaching, walking and cycling.
Brian Buchanan, Internal Auditor
Brian was appointed to the role of internal auditor in 1998, based in the Auckland branch. His previous roles were as chief accountant for a national supermarket operator and operations analyst for a major retail chain. He mixes a love all sports with spending time with grandchildren.
Chris Hibbert, Information Technology Manager
Chris joined MG in 1997 as information technology manager after working in IT management positions prior to his appointment. He has been responsible for supervising MG’s development of computer systems and on-line business functions. Chris enjoys sport, music and holidays with his family.
